i've always believed it's cheaper (in the long-run) to overbuild components that take abuse... such as shocks, suspension components, etc..in manufacturing costs, it's not that big a difference... usually a few dollars per unit. when someone installs your parts on their car in vital areas, you better make sure as shit that everything will work right. I never put out anything that i didn't first put on my car and test... in one case, until the part failed... i even tested the gauge rings... ;) how the hell do these people sleep at night knowing that something they sold someone could cause them to lose control and kill themselves or someone else?? bunch of money hungry lemmings that will all get exactly what's coming to them.
